Alaska Adventure

Departure Date April 21

I will be leaving for Alaska on Easter Sunday. The drive is approximately 3400 miles.

Destination: Husky Homestead

From the HH website: “Training sled dogs is a year-round affair for four-time Iditarod champion Jeff King. He is is recognized as the “Winningest Musher in the World.” His victories include not only the 1,049 mile Iditarod Sled Dog Race in 1993, 1996, 1998, and 2006, but also over two dozen first place finishes in races all across Alaska.”

Each summer Jeff shares the world’s finest sled dogs and puppies with visitors world wide at his location in Denali Park, Alaska.

I will be working in the HH business office and living in my van. When not working, I plan to try to see as much of Alaska as I can mange. I will post a couple photos with a few notes here each week, beginning April 21.

I will be back in the fall to continue to teach FUF lessons. Fall lesson registration is open to current families now. If you register for the session before June 9, you will receive a discount on tuition plus four free remote lesson certificates. Click to view the fall session.

I’m going to miss all my swimmers. I would love to see photos and videos of everyone swimming over the summer. Please feel free to send me some. text: 402.312.1012 neal.jeanie@gmail.com
