Welcome and welcome back! The fall session of swimming lessons begins this Saturday. Please double check your location, lesson dates, times, water safety certificate status, and tuition balances to be sure we are settled up before lessons start.
SCHEDULE CHANGE FOR ALL MONDAY LESSONS
The Kroc Center pool will be closed October 12-24 for some pool maintenance. This affects two scheduled Monday lessons. There will be no Monday lessons (AM at OHB or PM at KROC) on October 12 and October 19. The new dates for those two lessons are Monday, November 2 and Monday, December 21. This information is posted on the session page online.
SESSION REMINDERS
Uniform: All swimmers ages 3+ are required to wear a solid-color, fitted, training style suit. One-piece for girls and jammers or briefs for boys. I will provide cap and goggles for Instructional lesson swimmers. 25 Club and Voyagers are required to bring their own caps and goggles. It is okay to wear what you have for the first lesson, but thereafter, please have the correct swim school uniform.
Attendance: Attendance at all lessons is not required. Please make as many as you can. If you have to miss, you are welcome to swap times with another swimmer or send a friend or relative to use your spot. There is a Lesson Swap page on the website to advertise your available lessons and facilitate swaps with other FUF families. Weather? Please check the website before driving to lessons on a bad weather day. Any cancellation notices will be posted there at the top of the page.
Practice and Play at Kroc: You must purchase a daily or monthly membership at the Kroc Center to use their facilities outside of your lesson time.
Look ahead to Winter/Spring/Summer: As soon as we start this fall lesson session, you have the option of renewing your same time slot for Winter-Spring. I will keep that option to renew your same time slot open until Thursday, November 5th at 6:00 PM. There is a one hour moratorium and then registration to change time slots will open at 7:00 PM on November 5th. Winter-Spring registration opens to the public on November 12.
