25 CLUB PREP - Get ready for fall.

25 CLUB PREP ACTIVITIES

Practice at your pool!

Cannonballs into deep water

Bobs (hum underwater)

Touch the Bottom in Deep Water

Swim Tadpole (easy, balanced, no kicking)

Log Rolls

Swim Freestyle/1-2-3-4-Roll (continuous swimming rolling to breath – no head lift)

Full length of the pool using a continuous backstroke – alternating two strokes FAST, five strokes SLOW AND full length of the pool using a continuous backstroke – alternating two strokes SLOW, five strokes FAST

Memorize the 25 Club Warm-Up

  1. Tadpole – Balance

  2. Elementary Backstroke (Starfish) – Propulsion

  3. Backstroke – Head Position

  4. Freestyle – Stroke Rate

  5. Kicking on Back – Breathing for swimming

BONUS: If you know them, practice some butterfly and/or breaststroke. Remember to stay balanced, keep moving forward, maintain good head position, and use good breathing for swimming.
