25 CLUB PREP ACTIVITIES
Practice at your pool!
Cannonballs into deep water
Bobs (hum underwater)
Touch the Bottom in Deep Water
Swim Tadpole (easy, balanced, no kicking)
Log Rolls
Swim Freestyle/1-2-3-4-Roll (continuous swimming rolling to breath – no head lift)
Full length of the pool using a continuous backstroke – alternating two strokes FAST, five strokes SLOW AND full length of the pool using a continuous backstroke – alternating two strokes SLOW, five strokes FAST
Memorize the 25 Club Warm-Up
Tadpole – Balance
Elementary Backstroke (Starfish) – Propulsion
Backstroke – Head Position
Freestyle – Stroke Rate
Kicking on Back – Breathing for swimming
BONUS: If you know them, practice some butterfly and/or breaststroke. Remember to stay balanced, keep moving forward, maintain good head position, and use good breathing for swimming.
